The Offset Connector is rarely needed unless you have a stall shower with a center mounted single lever water control knob that is mounted higher than usual to where the ShowerStick hangs down in front of it and blocks it. If you have a shower with a bathtub below, then it isn’t needed since the faucet controls are mounted low enough to not interfere with the ShowerStick being able to hang unobstructed. To verify if you need it, measure from the bottom tip of your shower pipe to the top of your water control knob. If you have at least 19” (or 23” if the KDF filter is installed), then you don’t need the Offset Connector. The Offset Connector will offset the ShowerStick 4″ to either side you choose. (Measurements apply to standard American shower pipes, which protrude 4” out from the shower wall.)
