*Updated Chrome finish KDF Filter Replacement Recommendation
We’ve updated our recommended replacement schedule for the Chrome finish KDF Filter internal cartridge, changing it from every 12 months to every 6 months.
This updated recommendation is based on variations in water quality and typical usage. Replacing the internal cartridge every 6 months helps maintain optimal filter performance and water quality.
The Chrome finish KDF Filter can still last up to 12 months, depending on water conditions and usage. However, we believe recommending a 6-month replacement schedule will provide our customers with more consistent filter performance and help maintain water quality over time.
Please note that the updated recommendation was introduced after some of our new packaging had already been produced and shipped. As a result, you may receive a box that still shows the previous 12-month replacement recommendation while we transition to the updated packaging and website information.
What About Our White KDF Filter?
We also offer our White KDF Filter, which uses a different, higher-grade KDF media. Because of the higher-grade media used inside, the White KDF Filter has a higher price point and will continue to have a recommended replacement interval of up to 12 months.
