I was worried that it might be ineffective or difficult to install, but I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve tested it using both the provided test strips and third part test strips (comparing shower water to water from sink); it really does bring the water hardness level down to zero. I primarily got it to improve my curls, and I was impressed by the texture after a few weeks. It’s a gamble to spend so much on something you can’t try, but I’m happy with my purchase and think it’s a great investment.

I have severely sensitive skin and break out bad from hard water, no matter what soaps I use. I’ve had shower sticks since 2006. I will keep buying these every few years. Please don’t ever stop making this product. I rely on this, as I live in a condo, and have no alternative to a big water softener. I can go places without having to wear a long sleeved shirt. I would have to sell my condo because of the water if it wasn’t for this product.

I’ve had the showerstick for over a year and it really helps my skin. The recharges are easy considering the alternatives. Glad I bought it!
